Accreditation Standards

The Commission on Accreditation for Health Services Management (CAHSM) serves the public interest by ensuring that educational programs meet or exceed established standards for quality, helping to provide skilled professionals to the healthcare industry. Accreditation is a voluntary, self-regulatory process that facilitates continuous improvement in educational outcomes and resource investment.

CAHSM has established a comprehensive set of 21 Standards that programs must meet to achieve and maintain accreditation. These standards are designed to ensure institutional stability, faculty excellence, and student success across Associate, Baccalaureate, and Master’s degree levels
