The Board of Directors serves as the governing body for our accrediting agency, establishing strategic vision, maintaining oversight of accreditation standards, and ensuring transparency and rigor across all health science programs we accredit.
Composed of experienced health science educators, practicing healthcare professionals, academic administrators, and public representatives, our Board brings diverse expertise to safeguard academic quality, foster workforce readiness, and support institutional excellence.
Core Responsibilities:
Strategic Direction & Planning
Defining long-term vision and goals, tracking organizational performance metrics, and adapting strategies to industry trends.
Financial Stewardship & Fiduciary Duty
Approving annual budgets, overseeing internal financial controls and audits, and ensuring long-term financial sustainability.
Legal, Regulatory & Ethical Governance
Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, enforcing ethics and conflict-of-interest policies, and mitigating organizational risks.
Institutional Governance & Operational Oversight
Updating bylaws, recruiting diverse board members, conducting self-evaluations, and representing the organization to external stakeholders.
