Directory of Candidate Programs<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

This page provides a listing of academic programs that have officially entered the Candidacy phase with CAHSM. Acceptance into Candidacy Status is a prerequisite for new programs, allowing them to participate in the formal Comprehensive Program Review process required to achieve Initial Accreditation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Candidacy status does not denote accreditation<\/strong> or full compliance with Accreditation Standards; instead, it indicates that a program has met minimum eligibility requirements and is actively working toward providing the rigorous education necessary to prepare students for the workforce. This status is valid for a maximum of two (2) years, during which the program must complete its Self-Assessment and move toward a final accreditation decision.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
